QR Code Station

With the TrackArt QR coding station machine, each product box to be serialized is coded using thermal inkjet technology (2D DataMatrix). The QR coding process is done in accordance with various sector-specific traceability regulations such as Pharmaceuticals (Drug Tracking System), Medical (Product Tracking System), and Vaccines (Vaccine Tracking System) used today.

After the products pass through the QR coding station and the coding is done on the box using DataMatrix code, the DataMatrix code printed on the box is read and verified using industrial high-speed readers. Based on the reading result, it is determined whether the code printed on the box will be verified. Codes that cannot be read are separated from the line to the Reject box using compressed air through the pneumatic piston.

Before the QR coding process starts, it is integrated with the ERP software used in companies, and after Production Work Orders are pulled and approved by the quality assurance departments, orders are entered into the machine. The QR coding process is initiated based on the incoming job orders to the machine.

Feed conveyors are added to the beginning and end of the line as desired by the companies into the machine. It can be easily controlled through a user-friendly interface thanks to the touch screen.

QR code labeling stations play a significant role in product traceability, automation, and data management. They are especially used to ensure the fast and precise operation of the production line.

QR Code Labeling Station

Key Components

The key components of the QR code labeling station include:

  • Conveyor Belt or Transportation System

There is a conveyor belt or transportation system that allows the products or packaging to be transported to the station. This system ensures that the products reach the station in an organized manner.

  • Labeling Head

It has a labeling head that allows the QR labels to be applied or printed on the products or packaging. This head applies the labels accurately.

  • Printing and Labeling Control Unit

Some systems may include a printing unit if text or data needs to be printed on the labels. This unit prints the data on the labels and then applies them.

  • Reject Red System

This mechanism ensures that a product or part is automatically removed from the production line when it does not meet acceptable quality criteria. Reject mechanisms help prevent faulty products or parts from causing damage to other stages of processing or final products.

  • Data Reading and Verification System

It includes a data reading and verification system to verify that the data on the QR labels is correct and readable. This system reads and verifies the printed or applied QR codes.

  • Control and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) Panel

It contains a control panel or HMI panel that controls the entire system. This panel allows operators to make system settings, monitor the operating status, and change settings when needed.

  • Safety Features

The station includes safety measures. This ensures that operators work safely and prevents machine errors.

  • Database Connection

Some QR code labeling stations connect with a database or cloud system to record data and generate reports.

  • Alarm and Alert Systems

The station has systems that alert or alarm operators in case of an error or issue.
